the vcredist installer package is there. You have to download it, and
run it. Point it to some temporary folder as this contains the
installer. Yeah typical MS.
Go to the folder you pointed it at and run the vcredist.exe package. It
will silently put the necessary files in the correct system folders for
Wine.
As for raw device access, working on it. Wine has changed a lot since
the last time I have done that.
Wine is halfway there on its own. All I need to do is add the device
entry for the CF card and set the right permissions for raw device
access (which IIRC is a policy / user membership of a group that has to
be set these days).
Don't go hitting refresh every 5 seconds. I'll be trying to work on it
this week if I have time.
