The problem here is that we have no idea what computer this person has.
It could be a Mac 512k, a Mac 512kE, or even a IIgs (A lot of people do
confuse it often for a mac, and with the standard Apple Memory card
installed, it might have only 512k). On the other hand, because of the
"Fat Mac" aspect, it might be a Lisa or Macintoh XL. In which case it
would only be able to run only a limited amount of early macintosh or
Lisa specific software, which would be hard to find. I don't think that
IIe software is an option in any case, and since the student probably
just wants to be able to use their system, then that specific software
would be wanted. On the other hand, they could sell the computer to a user
and buy a much better computer!
