The IIgs doesn't come with a hard drive, so unless it has an internal
3rd party hard drive, (easy to check, just pull off the cover and look)
then it only has floppies for storage.

A good idea: get both a 3.5" drive (they read/write 800K, as opposed
to 140K on the 5.25) and a hard drive (either a Focus or a SCSI card
and external drive).

Call Alltech (619)724-2404. They have all the options.
