This is certainly true for Randy Brandt specifically. But for Beagle
as a company.....
...........Beagle Bros. invested almost all of their resources into
BeagleWorks for the Mac in their last couple years of existence.
This ultimately did them in. In the end, they sold there Apple II
line of products to Quality Computers (now Scantron Quality Computers)
and sold BeagleWorks to WordPerfect Corp. which reworked it and
renamed it WordPerfect Works for the Mac. (I don't know if Corel --
the current owners of the WordPerfect line still sells WP Works.)
Applied Engineering also turned solely to the Mac (mainly accellerators)
and also succumbed to the increased competition found in the Mac
market and went bankrupt a few years back.
