Re: Ripping my GS's ROMs isn't working...



I'm not sitting at my Apple but my first thoughts are:

1) This command syntax is only going to dsiplay to the screen ... not
save it to a disk file, which, according to my memory of your previous
posts, is what you want to do.

2)Any accesses (even READs) to the 00/C000 - 00/C0FF and 01/C000 -
01/C0FF (There may be another image area I can't remember) hardware
page can cause unexpected results, even of the type you describe.
This is not a READ/WRITE random access memory area BUT the soft switch
page for controlling the Apple hardware, this controls display mode,
keyboard, clock, etc., etc., etc.

Hopefully some one responds who has successfully completed this
operation, I am just letting you know why (I think) you are having a
problem.
