This is exactly why, for the first time since the ][ was abandoned,
I'm thinking of going with corporate thinking and get an LC or something.
I've been waiting and waiting for any bits of "modern" software to come
out. I don't have time to go back to college and major in computer science
and write my own.
Though I love the IIgs, it is hard to rely on guys working out of their
garages to provide modern software - and if I had a Mac I wouldn't
pay $70 for something like Faxination, as I did with my IIgs.
And I wouldn't be sitting around waiting for a Web browser - which will
probably be buggy anyway and overpriced.
There are some things that corporations do better than guys out of their
garages - despite that the $666 Apple I was built that way. Perhaps Tiger
will come out with a browser. I'll hold onto my II for a few more months...
