Re: What's to become of the Apple II?
Hi All;
Just a story to complement Dr. Buxbaum's post;
At the NRC in Ottawa I noticed a IIe tucked away on a shelf.
Now, I dreamed of having Appleworks on my desk at work for
10 yrs (although there was a 486/66 in my office). So, I
asked one of the Lab guys if I could have it, assuming it
was 'surplus'. He said he'd check and get back to me. The
next the Lab supervisor caught me in the hall, and explained
that they used it with a scanning densitometer, and although
I could BORROW their Apple, they would not part with it!

Harvey
