There's "Apple II Desktop" which is a Finder-like program that Apple 
shipped with early GS system software, but which runs on a IIe/IIc. You 
can find that in club libraries. Then there's GEOS, which is a set of 
commercial programs (GeoWrite, GeoCalc, GeoPublish, etc.). These are 
definitely _not_ freeware or shareware. GeoWrite was a rather simple 
MacWrite/Multiscribe-type program, the graphical database and spreadsheet 
were quite well reviewed, and the desktop publishing program was thought 
by some reviews to be more powerful than Publish It!
