GEOS was written for the C64 first, ported to the //e a few years later,
then to the IBM.  They quit selling the //e version soon after it was
announced, if I'm remembering correctly.  There may be some copies left
somewhere for sale.  I don't remember the name of the company, but they
were in Berkley (or near there) at that time.  Those who have used it
say it's better than any other windowing package on their systems.
