Yes. I think the Apple II will survive, even if some greedy
economists at Apple Inc. have declared it dead. Like the
old Volkswagen car, like the 'golden oldie' rock groups, the
Apple II line will survive. Companies like Alltech have
formed to absorb the sales of used II +/e/c/gs parts and many
users buy there. Often the Apple II satisfies their needs as
well as a full-blown whizz-bang-pc but at the half of the
price. If we can keep all the good folks who make new
software and sell it at our side by giving them moral and
financial support, it's even better! There are many reasons
why the Apple II's may survive the PC's. The most important
one is that they are good, convenient and reliable!
