Yes. There is a program, available at the various ftp sites
(ground.isca.uiowa.edu or apple2.caltech.edu) called JazzGraph by
Jason Perez. It takes spreadsheet data (AppleWorks Classic or ASCII)
and fits a curve to it in both linear and logarithmic formats. I
think it supports several different powers of curve fit.
The output, frankly, is amazing. The program uses QuickDraw routines,
just like Cricket Graph or Delta Graph on the Mac, which results in
the highest resolution output the printer is capable of. This might
not mean much difference on an ImageWriter, but it generates high
quality output on plotters, ink-jet printers, or laser printers.
It is shareware. I would have gladly bought the program if I needed
to generate these graphs, but was nonetheless happily surprised that
a good graphing program for the IIGS exists for those who need it.

You are going to need more memory and System 6 or greater for the
IIGS. At least 2MB total. Alltech Electronics sells a SIMM based
memory card that you can get with 0K and dig up some 1MB SIMMs
cheap. It is expandable to 8MBs total. Sequential Systems also have
2-8MB RAM cards, but they seem a bit more expensive and use hard
to find DRAM chips.

You're welcome. Please post more such questions. It is good to have
an intelligent exchange like this rather than the flame trash that
has infested this newsgroup.
