I would like to publically thank Mr. Suzuki - he has taken an enormous
amount of time to work with me in getting an IP from my server. Our
system here at St. Olaf assigns IP's dynamically. If anyone else has
any problems with this telnet program, please feel free to contact
either me or the author.

Here are the known bugs:

o It seems to lock up when a lot of data is sent at once.

	- The probem here is that the "missing packet re-send" routine
and the "TCP window control" routine are missing, which inform
the receive buffer of the length left.

Workaround: Run screen, so that no data is lost when you lock up.
Be sure to kill the screen -r process and its shell
so that you can reattach your screen.

o It drops characters like mad

	- This is because the program does not use tools for the
keyboard input routine. Gno grabs these characters.

   Workaround: None.

o No vt-100 emulation

	- Mr. Suzuki is a very busy man, so no vt-100 code was written.
He did offer to write it for me, but I found the following
	  workaround:

Workaround: Use tic to compile gnocon. This is not exactly easy,
but a good man page will help you.

By the way, the open-apple key will abort telnet. Be sure to suspend
telnet by hitting <control> Z a bunch of times (& hope Gno intercepts
one of them :) ) before trying to enter the CDAs.

Finally, I think gScreen (screen for Gno) could be an _excellent_
addition to this telnet application. Does anyone know the status of
gScreen? The beta I have crashes quite frequently.

Thanks,
Pete
