You never do say just what you are trying to do here. It looks like you
want to move some Appleworks files onto a Mac?

As far as Appleworks files go, there is no difference between an Apple II
and an Apple IIgs. By FAR, the easiest way to get those files off 5.25
floppies is to find someone with an Apple II who can read them and put them
on 3.5 disks for you. Your Mac should be able to read Apple II ProDOS 3.5
floppies.
If you can't find anybody locally, I could probably be persuaded to do it
for a couple of bucks to cover my time and expenses.
