To heck with 2400 baud modems!  You can use 300 baud ones!  My 300
baud modem doesn't even accept Hayes-type commands.  Admittedly, the
net doesn't FLY, but I got MY 300 baud modem for FREE.  I'm guessing
that this is about the going price for one...I just used MouseTalk (My
Apple // comm program), and dialed in to my shell account.  If you can
find a computer (like a Franklin Ace 1000) in a free pile somewhere,
too, then voila!  Free network computer!  (You'd plug the computer
into your TV, of course.)  Of course, you'd need a serial card, and
maybe a disk drive...
