And that is why GS software will still be on my book even if there
are Mac alternatives.  I have seen first hand how bloatware bogs down
Mac IIci's and '486 machines.  You could solve the problem with brute
force, like with a cool but expensive Pentium chip (amazing preservation
engineering...their should be a 65816 based version!) or go with better
written (ie. more efficient) software like GS programs.
