NetWare, Apple, and HQX/SEA files

I have a question about Apple compression. Just about every file i download
is in HQX format, though i have a few that are SEA format. I'm looking for
an Unarchiver for the HQX format... Yet, there's a catch.

I'm using a DOS box to download the files from the Internet. I running a
Mac IIsi on a Netware network. There's no modem on the Mac, our network has
a shareable Shiva netmodem. I'm trying to install Zterm on the Apple so i
can use the Netmodem, however when i move the HQX (or SEA) files to
shareable directory where the Mac can see them, it sees them as "DOS" files
(the icon for the file says "DOS" in the picture). I'm wondering if i'm
doing something wrong, or if i just can't move a file from a novell network
to the Mac and then uncompress it.

Any info anyone has would highly appreciated...
