: Hello Lachlan Patrick:
:
: You are are correct that this is a great game but the Game is
: copywrited by Call A.P.P.L.E. Thanks for your interest.
Norman Dodge may have been thinking of a totally different commercial
game:
"Wilderness: A Survival Adventure" by Electric Transit; distributed by
Electronic Arts. Program and documentation copyright 1984 by Titan
Computer Products.
"For ages thirteen to adult; an Interactive Simulation"
"It features Panagraphics (tm), a three-dimensional graphics generating
system; infinite dynamic, perilous environments in which to journey; and a
series of expert systems, scientifically accurate models of daily weather
patterns, and the human body's responses to exposure, injury, and illness.
Experts in the fields of toxic wild plants, human physiology, navigation,
wilderness lore, thermal models, wildlife habitats, meteorology, and
terrain models have pooled their knowledge to create a precisely-detailed
enviornment." 300 word vocabulary; DOS3.3 save disks. Listed as running on
Apple II, II+ IIe and //c. :)
