This is true. On more than one occasion I have heard Ken Williams bad mouth
the Apple ][. I remember talking to him about some Helicopter game that 
they were trying to port to the GS. He told me that it would never be ported 
because :

1> The GS was too slow (In other words they didn't want to write native code)
2> They could not see supporting a platform with such an insignifigant
   market share. This was in the late 80's when the Apple II market was still
   quite large, signifigant, and popular.


Don't invite them.
