Short answer: serial connection to an ISP that provides a shell
account, and a telcom program on the GS side. PPP and SLIP are not
usable at the moment; when it is released, GS/TCP will provide some
connectivity.

Yes, thank you for realizing that there is such a thing. The
comp.sys.apple2 FAQ was posted on the first of the month (and properly
configured news setups should keep it around for the month), but is
