Can anyone identify this? I'm thinking maybe a printer card?

The text reads "Compatible Apple 1003 Interface". Except for
the 2716 EPROM, all chips are standard TTL. I don't know what
goes in the empty socket.
A 34 pin IDC ribbon cable connection might indicate some type
of floppy disk drive controller. I wouldn't try hooking one up
though. I had one I thought was a 720K drive card and well, it
blew up the floppy drive.
