AE GSRam-plus help

hello CSA2,
	As usual, I need technical assistance,  I have a Applied
Engineering GSRam-plus card, Rev D.  It's not working, and since the
company is out of business, I was wondering if anyone had any idea how I
could fix it.
	First off, my system is a Rom3 GS, and there was 5megs installed
on the card, but now I have 4 on it.  When I first installed it, the total
 memory listed in the "about system" window was about 7.2 Megs.  It
should only be ~6 (5 on the card, and 1 on the GS board) but I didn't
notice this "mytery ram" untill I took 1 meg off of the board, plugged it
back in, and it still said that I have about 7.2 megs installed, which
now gives me 2 megs of "mystery ram."
	I wrote to Nathan Mates and he said that he thought there was a
post to this group a while ago about a chip swap for the GSRam-plus for a rom1 or a
rom3.  Does anyone else recall this?
	Anyone have any ideas?  I have the memory installed in each bank in the right
order, or at least the order given in the manual.  Other than that I don't know what it
could be.  Does anyone know how I could have it checked or serviced?
