So you got it without the manual? Tststs... :)
If you mean 'The Duel: Test Drive II' I might be of help:
My manual sez (page 16):
- - create a new folder on your ProDOS hard disk called 'Duel'
- -insert your TD2 disk and open it in the Finder
- -start the ProDOS on the floppy (TD2 needs an old version of ProDOS 16)
- -when the setup screen appears (where you can select to race against the
clock
etc) select 'install'
- -on the install menu select 'Play Disk' ('None' should disappear)
- -type the full pathname of the 'Duel' folder on your HD, e.g.:
/HD/DUEL
- -when prompted for a play disk just press any key
- -select 'Make Play Disk'. A play disk is created in the DUEL folder
- -select 'Copy Cars' to copy cars An asterisk (*) indicates the selected car
(you can select all cars at once) then select 'Copy'
- -you can copy sceneries the same way
- -to finish select 'Exit' until you are back to the 'Setup screen'
- -To use TD2 from the HD you must still use your Floppy. Just start
'ProDOS' from that floppy. The game should load mainly from HD now.
Otherwise enter the pathname of your DUEL folder on the 'Install' screen
for the play disk. Ignore 'Insert Disk' notices.
Hope it helps...
Cheers
