One thing to remember is that ProDOS 2.0 and up require an enhanced IIe.
If Brian's machine is not enhanced, he'll need v1.9 or earlier. I know
I grabbed a copy recently from somewhere, but I can't find it now. I
suspect it can be obtained from Genie or maybe someone who has the older
versions archived.

Speaking of which, do the System Utilities v3.1 (on ProDOS 1.9 master)
require an enhanced machine? I made up some disks to give to people
getting used IIes and they run on my IIgs but not on any of the IIes
(which weren't enhanced). The menu program comes up fine, but launching
System Utilities locks up the system (the title screen sort of appears,
but only the first letter from each row gets printed). One even has an
Extended 80-column card, so memory isn't the problem. What version would
be appropriate for an unenhanced machine and are there any versions that
would work without 80-columns or even on a II+? (I remember that v1.0.1
had 40-column utility programs, but I don't have a copy anymore.)
