Re: Is my copy of Merlin legal?

Here's what I can relate to you concerning you inquiry about the Merlin
archive you got from Asimov. As I've never personally uploaded or
downloaded anything from the Asimov site, I couldn't begin to tell you
what the file is you downloaded from there. I did notice there was a
Merlin archive on the Asimov site, notified both Glen Bredon and Roger
Wagner by voice tel-con, some months back - informing them of it's
presents there. I thought it had been deleted from the Asimov site by
now. If it's still there you should contact either Glen Bredon or Roger
Wagner directly about the status of it. Glen's snail mail address
follows.

Glen Bredon
58188 Trails End Rd.
Northfork, CA 93643

Roger Wagner can be contacted via telephone, email or snail mail from
the HyperStudio web site information furnished there. Last word I had
from both of them was a tel-con from Glen about a month ago - advising
me that Merlin, (all versions) was not going to be reclassified as
freeware and would remain a commercial program.

I hope that helps you with your information needs concerning the Merlin
program you downloaded from the Asimov site.

Cheers,
Tom
