Kids & mock elections...

Election Day is almost a month away... and across the nation, mock
elections are planned in many elementary and secondary schools.
A lot of these schools have old non-IBM computers, like Apple IIe, Mac
Plus, etc. Some teachers have asked whether there are any "mock voting"
programs available for the Apple IIe format and the Macintosh format.
So... if you know of a "mock voting" in either format, please send an
e-mail to Hal Barber -- hbarber@visi.net -- or phone him at 1-800-484-1495,
security code 6245. Hal says he'd like to post the program on the Dept. of
Education's BBS so teachers nationwide could download it.
If there isn't any such program... anybody interested in writing one
before the next election? Act now, or there's no way we can ever find out
whether our children would vote in as enlightened a manner as do we
responsible adults! Thanks!
