Apple File Exchange, which came on System 6.0.x disks, will allow a Mac
with the high density drive to read and/or write ProDOS disks -- but I
doubt that the actual _files_ can then be accessed by any Mac software.
It's possible that there is a translation engine in MacLink (?), which
comes with System 7.5.x, which will take the files from Band Street Writer
to Word or MacWrite -- or plain text, come to that.

If all else fails the files can be saved as plain text on the ][ GS and
transferred to the Mac; any word processor or text editor can handle text
files.
