        You might have better luck posting this to a Macintosh newsgroup.  
This group is for the Apple ][, a far superior platform.  :)

Any any case, a friend of mine recently had an identical problem on his Quadra 
605.  From the looks of it, I would have bet his power supply went the way my 
PC just went, but no... it was simply the battery.  Apparently some (all?) 
macs render themselves into doorstop mode when the battery goes out.  Prove 
again, that the GS *is* the superior machine.  hehe  ahhh, I love it.
