	Some of us can't stand holier-than-thou types and like to taunt them
<bigger grin>.

	I think Mr. Mates gets pummelled a lot because:
		A) His R.A.H. quote about the facts is too juicy to ignore when Mr. Mates
makes a statement and then doesn't provide any supporting facts,
		B) Since he is the maintainer of the FAQ some people seem take his
answers as if he thought that he was Lord High FAQ speaking ex-cathedra (I
disagree with this view, but I do think Mr. Mates has been a bit brusque at
times, but then I'm not in his shoes),
		C) He "seems" to be rough on newbies when he answers their questions by
pointing them to his FAQ,
		D) He wants to shut down pirate sites and he makes threats such as having
the FBI break the pirate's door down.  Most of use don't like threats in
any fashion and react negatively to the threat-maker (even if the
threat-maker is legally and/or morally right).


	I think Mr. Turley gets pummelled because he (apparently) tried to pass of
copyright hacked version of the Apple IIGS OS as his own OS.  He has
(apparently) also tried to pass off a music program as being revolutionary.
 The revolutionary part seems to be amount of gobbledy-gook used to
describe the program.  (Note: I am qualifying my statements as I do not
have an Apple IIGS and can not verify the software claims myself.  IF I am
wrong I apologize to _all_ parties.)

	This is my understand from the newsgroup.  I have never met any of these
people but these are my perceptions based on *their* posts.
