Considering the Apple changed the way some thing work and that I have to
change my workflow mindset going between 10.4 and 10.6, yes, they are
different enough.

I have a 50". It's probably about the right size for my room, but I
agree with Mike. You really might want to consider bigger.
What size of TV are you currently using? I was previously using a 27"
TV (anyone want to buy a 27" Sony Trinitron, cheap?) and after doing the
math, I would have needed at least a 37" to match it. That would have
had the same height and at least wouldn't have felt like a downgrade in
size.
