Didn't 'pretend' to be either <g> they were real-live honest to Woz
Apple ][+'s. (Exact same logic boards as used in Apple branded
Apple ][+ machines (right down to the various ECO related changes))

No muscling in anywheres :) Apple built the machines -for- B&H. I
think they decided to do this deal because of the HUGE foothold
that B&H had (and has) in schools.
