Re: Why no Apple II AOL FTP site?

Great news!

I've just finished a voice tel-con with the Admin. of Ground's Apple2 
ftp site (Steven Nelson) and he has found the space for the AOL Apple II 
Archives. He mentioned that an AOL incoming folder is there and waiting 
for it all from CJ Redwolf, per their arrangments. 

I've emailed the 'ftpadmin.@aol.com' - Bob, asking him to advise the AOL 
administration to send an email to: 'steven-nelson@uiowa.edu' giving him 
authority and premission to make the AOL Apple II archives available via 
Ground for free public access.

Hopefully, thanks to the efforts and generous offer from CJ Redwolf and 
the space provided by Ground, they will soon be downloaded by:

who has free time from AOL to do it all and so it should all be in the 
'NEW AOL' ftp folder on the Ground Apple2 ftp site - for free public 
access by all - very soon now!

It looks like happy days are here again for all the old and new Apple II 
users, that lost access to those AOL A2 archives!  Apple II miracles do 
still happen :)
