So come on, and make this discussion about ancient stuff
even longer! With a little patience we can not only
celebrate the 10th birthday of the GS, but the birth of
the longest discussion about an idiotic topic, too.

Hackers, crackers and pirates have been there since the
introduction of the Apple I and even if you bomb Asimov,
piracy won't die. The ONLY way to prevent piracy is to
change the attitude of the users. An original is
something special. It comes with a written manual, a
nice box and certified disks. Furthermore, an original
gives you the unique feeling to do something good. To
quote Bret Victor: "Thanks for helping to extend the life
of your Apple II". Of course, there will be always some
people without a conscience, but they are a minority.

Remember: Buy them if you like them! Support those
          who support the Apple II!
