I'll add a "how-to" to the read.me. You are right, I missed that one.

The principle is simple: "double-clicking a disk image will mount it
on the desktop is it recognized by the system"

MountIt does not include an icon file. If you installed it with the
Installer program and then double-clicked on disk images and got no
images, then, your disk images are not recognized by the system.

MountIt asks for memory, huge amount of memory (800KB for a 800KB disk
image :-) - If it fails obtaining it, MountIt does nothing.

In response to BIll's message. MountIt does not rely on other drivers
because it includes its own "disk driver" (similar to the RAM5 driver
but MountIt relies on File System Translators. The more you installed,
the more images you open.

Maybe not. It does not add compatibility to disk images not recognized
by the system.

Send some of your disk images to my email address, I'd be glad to
check those.
