Steve Wozniak -IS- 'The Honorary Founding Good-Will Group Ambassador for US-A2WUG!

auri@woz.org made the following uninformed, ignorant and non-factual 
post to this newgroup earlier today for which I can see no reason or 
logic for his having done such. I've sent both him and Steve Wozniak an 
email copy of this post and reply concerning these matters and I expect  
Auri to do the proper and decent thing and make a full retraction, 
correction and apoligy to me via this newsgroup with a post - for the 
following -NON-FACTUAL- and -FALSE- statements and post content;

It has come to my attention that, after many attempts of telling Mr.
Turley not to, he has continued to mention that Steve Wozniak is a 
founder (or co-founder) of his Apple II WorldWide User Group.  This is 
not true.

I have requested Mr. Turley to remove the name from the list.  I'm sorry
to come into this, but he is publishing something on the Internet that 
he was told not to publish, and this is an annoucnement saying that 
Steve Wozniak did _not_ co-found the A2-WUG, founded by Mr. Charles "Dr. 
Tom" Turley.

I, Charles T. Turley wish to inform all readers of this newsgroup that 
Steve Wozniak -IS- the Honorary Founding Good-Will Group Ambassador for
US-A2WUG (Unity Services Apple II Worldwide User Group) per Steve 
Wozniak's re-confirmation and assurance this morning to me in person - 
that he gave his consent and full permission, best wishes and support 
for using his name with US-A2WUG in this capacity and Honorary Title.  

I had a nice long face-to-face personal and friendly meeting with Steve 
Wozniak this morning at his office in Los Gatos - around 10 AM (PST) and 
we discussed the matters of US-A2WUG in full detail.  He again gave me 
full consent, endorsement and premission to use his name as such with 
US-A2WUG. I informed him of Auri's incorrect original post (copy above) 
and he assured me - Auri made the post without his knowledge or consent 
and that he would have a serious talk with Auri to set him straight 
about the facts concerning his Honorary Title as: 'Founding Good-Will 
Group Ambassador' for US-A2WUG.

I trust this will be all that is needed to set these matters and facts 
straight to everybody concerned.  I suggest, if anybody still has any 
doubts of the facts or truth in any of this, they either call (408) 
354-5000 or email Steve Wozniak (steve@woz.org) for a direct valid 
confirmation - that all I've stated in this post is 100% correct and 
true - in every respect.
