Re: CD of all Files on Asimov

: Joe, come on! Asimov has no GS software, so what's the point
: here? What risk are you talking of? Just because people are
: "downloading" ;) and not _buying_ ten years old Apple II+/e/c
: software (and boy I can understand these guys, sorry Joe) does
: not mean that they won't buy your GS classics!

Ah, but you're not looking into the not-so-distant future. With
GuS on the horizon and a few other GS emulators on the way, just how long
do you think it'll be before disk images of GS software will be made
online. The people using them will give the EXACT SAME REASONS to pirate
the stuff. I don't blame Joe at all. You have a business to MAKE money,
not lose it. To be honest the old Apple II software doesn't bother me
(aside from the stuff still for sale (eg: Atarisoft, ect) if it's
available. However, with the event of GS emulators coming onto the scene,
I think we might see the last GS developer bite the dust...and that would
be a damn shame.
