Looks like the old bad habit is back. I warned Turley a few months ago
that any more posting and emailings of identical responses to my posts
would send ALL email from him to bit hell, never crossing my sight. He
didn't listen, so I posted how. That ability wasn't on my account at
visi until 5 minutes ago. There is NO reason to both post and email
90+% of all responses, especially after being repeatedly warned not to
do so.
This can also be used to filter out email from spammers promising
XYZ, your boss, anything else.
Procmail is a cool unix program to do whatever you want with a
piece of incoming email. Here's the entry from my ~/.procmailrc file:
--- Begin code fragment:
:0
* ^From:.*cturley@wco.com.*
/dev/null
--- End fragment
And, the entry in my .forward file:
---
"|IFS=' ';exec /usr/local/bin/procmail #nathan"
---
If you cannot learn to listen to requests to stop, I will take
stronger measures.
