Could be because BB plays samples at the highest possible sampling
resolution on the Ensoniq.  Very CPU intensive with all that swapping.  I
tend to think it's highest sampling rate == better quality (and exposing
sample problems. :)

There are some fixes to BB, but I don't think it'll ever released.

Gambling?  Just too many games to play (and $), and having to balance
with work, school, programming, and watching anime. :)
