I don't have a solution, but when PrimeNet upgraded Lynx, the same thing
happoned.  I sent email to support, and they said that there was no
problem on 'real' VT-100's.  The support people here apparently don't know
about any options for this.

And if anyone does have a clue, we would all like to know.
