Tell someone who dropped ten grand in 1983 dollars on a Lisa that they're
irrelevant.

I heard a story back in '92 that nationwide, Apple sold seven IIgs and seven

selling like that.

Does MS still sell Decathlon or Multiplan? Support != sales. You can still
go to a dealer and get your Apple II fixed.

I don't get how you say trying to convince her that a Mac is not an Apple
computer is trying to point out her error. I think "you're posting in the
wrong group, try a Mac group" would have worked better. Your post was
counterproductive at any rate, she posted again asking whether Apple Computer
makes Macs.

Yep, I realize things move forward. I don't expect it to take five years
for 68K support to dry up. For example, there are no plans to make system 8
run on 68K boxes. Who cares, I'll have a new Powermac by then.

: Point being, while we were not exactly clear in saying why her post was
: off topic, the post was still off-topic. Please contradict this statement

Kindly explain the relation between "all computers have users who can't express
themselves" and "we posted a bunch of drivel which confused the person we
tried to get rid of and it didn't work so she kept posting here".

Oh yeah, you really got her to leave

: If you want to support/promote/talk about mac's, go to the mac newsgroups.
: Go directly to the mac newsgroups. Do not stop by the Apple II newsgroups.
: Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.

OK tell you what, next time asks how to get their files back and forth between
their Mac and II or how to share printers or how to boot a II off a network,
you answer them.
