There's an E-Z way to diagnose and repair Apple II motherboards. You 
need what's called a "Manual Fault Dictionary" - it is a chart of the 
states of all of the chips on the motherboard as they should be when the 
computer is operating at standby. So fire up your trusty logic probe 
(you DO have one, right ... ?) and start checkin' !

Oops - one thing though - this is a pretty big list. Give me your snail 
mail address and I'll mail you a photocopy, otherwise you'll have to 
wait so I can type this in!
