BIG APPLE USERS GROUP MEETINGS
SEPT 16: KFEST & AW 5.1
SEPT 30: HARD DISK, MEMORY CARD, & AW 5.1

Welcome to the Big Apple Users Group, a computer club for users of Apple
II and compatible computers.  We will hold our meetings this month on the
third and fifth Mondays, September 16 and 30. 
 
Quarterly General Meeting:
 
We will hold our quarterly general meeting at 6:30 pm on Monday, September
16, at Greenwich House, 27 Barrow St., a block south of Sheridan Square,
just east of 7th Ave., in Greenwich Village.  Jim O'Reilly will report on
doings at KansasFest, the annual conference of the luminaries of the Apple
II community, held last July 18-20 in Kansas City.  At KFest one meets
many developers and publishers and hears of the latest developments in the
Apple II world.  Polly Bookhout and Jim will also demonstrate some
features they have explored in AppleWorks version 5.1.  Jim will show how
to find duplicate records on an AW 5.1 data base file. 
 
 
Apple II SIG:
 
We will meet at Polly's place, 345 West 58th St., Apt. 5L, next to the
Coliseum, just west of Columbus Circle, at 6:30 pm on Monday, September
30. Polly has just had her hard disk repaired by Alltech Electronics, and
we will see how it works.  We may also install a memory card.  If time
allows, Jim will demo how to cross-reference DB files in AW 5.1.

power user.
