1) Blackout. Turned the screen colors to Black, black, black. Turned
sound to zero, boot disk to ROMdisk (I think!). Installed in block
zero of boot disk. System 6 made it impossible for it to install itself.

Blackout is the only one which intrigued me; it's very similar to some
of the early programs I wrote. Very simple, yet damning. I did write
a simple (BASIC) program long ago (DOS 3.3) which would zap all screen
output upon bootup, but I never learned enough to play with 1) reset
vectors, and 2) Ctrl-C (ONERR) handling.
The virus reminds me of someone who got too much information too soon
and decided to fiddle.
