Try turning the system off and pulling out all cards. With no cards
installed, it should dump you at a prompt on powerup. If that's the
case, replace cards until it doesn't work again.
Next, make sure your power supply is fine (the light may only be
the right two wires out of the 5 or 6; the others may be bad) by
wiggling the power connector and possibly using a voltmeter to see
what kinds of power is coming out.
You may also want to examine the connectors on the disk card and
all others-- they should be a shiny gold. If not, you should clean
them. Use Q-tips with a bit of Rubbing Alcohol on them (<$1.00 at your
local supermarket) to clean the card's connectors off. Make sure it's
dry before reinserting it in your computer.
