ABC Direct's SuperDrive card - cancelled!

    I finally managed to get intouch with ABC Direct concerning the status
of their SuperDrive clone card. As I suspected by the year long delay, the
project has been cancelled! The official word is the cost of the project 
went too high and unacceptable delays caused by an outside company (most 
likely a supplier of custom parts I would guess). They claim they got as 
far as a wirewrap board and artwork, but as it stands, the project is now 
dead. :(

    So once again, the "ALI 3.5 Controller Card" (SuperDrive clone card)
has been cancelled. The only option that remains is Apple's shorted lived
card (1991-1993) which continues to remain very rare.
