        Yes!  It will take an Apple //c to Imagewriter cable (notice: 
!NOT! the ImageWriter II, but the Imagewriter).  The serial port on the
DeskJet will need to be set at 9600, 8 data, 2 stop to sync with the
defaults.

        This will only work through the DeskJet 500, tho.

        The DeskJet 850 (which is also Mac/PC) will need a serial/parallel
adapter, since the PC port is parallel ...
