Said announcement has been posted for _years_ to this newsgroup, and
you're the first to react in a posting to it. (Only Joe Kohn knows if
people have emailed him). Announcements of commercial programs have long
been permitted on c.s.a2.
Besides, I believe Steve Cavanaugh's newsletter was also advertised
on c.s.a2 within the past two days. May we see some semblance of
consistency from you and a post attacking that as well? How about
something about the announcement of the Lambda Demo? Since that's
shareware, the author expects some money, and is therefore a
commercial product. Where was your post saying that was unacceptable?
_New_ program, magazine, and hardware announcements have always been
permitted on c.s.a2. Used stuff on c.s.a2.marketplace.
