1) Use a disk validation program to make sure the file system is
not corrupted. The best program in that line is ProSEL 8 or 16; see
http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/com/vendors.html for the number/addr
of Charlie's Appleseeds.
2) Reinstall the system software
3) Reinstall that game.
The only things that are loaded despite shiftbooting are drivers
and FSTs. Those are essential system software, so a reinstall from
the original disks is recommended if you suspect trouble.
