Alien Mind

    I recently dug up this old classic, since I've been wanting to 
finish Alien Mind for quite some time now. In any event, I've once
again found myself stuck at the very end  (though at least closer
than I was years before). :) Perhaps someone out there who remembers
the game could give me some advice, I'm asking here as it was only
written for the Apple IIgs.

    Where do you find the final piece (third component) of the "super
gun" to destory the alien monster? I found the first piece on level 7
(actually there were several of it) and then the middle piece on level
8, but cannot find the final end piece! I've searched all around L-8,
it doesn't seem to be around. If I advance to level 9, I die within a
few seconds, since you cannot battle the alien without the super-gun.
Could someone tell me where I should look? Or better yet, what bytes
of the character disk I can patch that tell the game which parts of
the gun I have? (I don't usually like to cheat, but I don't feel
like mindless running around a maze looking for a silly item :).
