I would vote for a more easterly location but there is no chance for
that. A quick run-down of the attendees shows California to be
the state where many of the attendees are coming from. The funny
thing about that is California is a good 500 miles further away from
Kansas City than the East Coast of the U.S. Kansas City is as close
to the center of the U.S. as you can get for a major metropolitan area.
Since Kansas City is located in the center of the U.S, it will probably
stay that way so no one would have to drive more than two days to
get there. This was the main reason why Kansas City was chosen
for KansasFests when Resource Central no longer sponsored it. If I
remember correctly, aruguments and conclusions were published in one
of the GenieLamps from a couple of years ago.
