   Absolutely not. Only the original Stylewriter can be used on a
Apple IIGS, and then only with GS/OS programs that use the system
drivers of System 6.  (No Appleworks 1.0-5.0, print shop, or other
//e stuff)

   HP Deskjets are reported to work well, except for the "Windoze
only" versions (620, I think, and probably others. Read the label.)
Also, buy Harmonie by Vitesse to provide printer drivers, and then you
can print.
